ELLE, TOM, & TANK

Hi! I'm not exactly sure why I'm writing this, because again, you're probably my mom.

But, just in case I ever blow up, this is something people do on their websites.

I am Elle. A 30 something Chicagoan who spends the vast majority of my day teaching 7th graders. In my free time, I like to snuggle with my dog), travel with my husband, and spend loads of time cooking and entertaining in our small apartment. Mostly, I'd like this thing to serve as a place where I can record our kitchen adventures, so that we can find definite repeats easily. Lately though, we've been sharing a lot of the winners with our family and friends, so hopefully this can serve that purpose too. Expect good food and sometimes - okay, maybe most of the time - wordiness.

The other two pictured above are Tom & Tank. My husband and 4 year old Dalmatian. They keep me adventurous, even if it means falling down more than a few times.
